When we got back, there were a couple days where she would be sitting, playing blocks and just look up and say "Poppy no boat." I think it's going to take a couple years before we can get her back in the canoe. But next year, I'm really looking forward to leaving her with you while Mike and I take a romantic canoe journey together. "mommy daddy boat."
That sounds awesome. She sounds like she's suffering a little PTSD from the experience, poor Poppy. She can play with Gramma and Papa while you guys have a nice boat trip!
