Unsettling Books

I'm going to have to start a new section of this blog called "Goddamned Creepy Books for Children" because I read Slightly Invisible Featuring Charlie and Lola tonight (from yesterday's library trip) and it was so damn creepy that I still have the creeps. Can you see that shadow figure sitting at the table with Charlie and Lola and Marv? I couldn't. Not at first. And then I discovered that Lola's invisible friend had been following her around the whole time. Creepy.
